Is this the most beautiful film in the world? – quite possibly!

There are movies that, through no fault of their own, have fallen through the cracks and have not found the audience they deserve.

One such film is ‘The Fall’

Breathtakingly beautiful and heartbreakingly moving, the fall was filmed across 26 locations in 18 countries. The scenes with the little girl were filmed in sequence so that she grew naturally as the filming progressed.

Check out the trailer here –

And if that doesn’t get you excited check out the opening sequence and soooooooo beautiful –

And yes if there are movie buffs out there that recognise that music from somewhere, it is used in ‘The King’s Speech’ during the climactic broadcast with Colin Firth (yummy) as King George. It is Beethoven’s Symphony No.7 in A Major, Op92. Il Allegretto.

Please please, if you have the chance, track this movie down and watch it on the biggest screen you can find. If you love it or hate it get back to me with a comment.

And it stars Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies) so there is plenty of eye-candy too!
